It is our ongoing endeavour to not only impart vocational training to our students but to also help them secure jobs, so that the training they receive at The Society helps them become financially independent.

We have attended seminars like the Employment Opportunities for Visually Impaired Manpower Resource Workshop held in collaboration with the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industries to raise corporate awareness about the capabilities of the visually challenged to work in a regular office environment.

As a result of the workshop Wipro extended BPO job placements for 3 of our candidates as Executive Help Desk staff at Walson Services Pvt. Ltd.

Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) has interviewed the students from our Computer Section for the Advanced Computer Training Course for the Visually Challenged to be held in Mumbai for one month. The interviews are conducted on a nationwide basis. 4 of our candidates were selected for the programme.

We hope that this training will help them secure jobs in the corporate sector.

We have also been able to help place a lot of our trainees as Assistant Teachers in Government Aided schools as a result of the tutoring that is given to help them prepare for the School Service Commission Examination.
