Foundation Day 2022

On 14th April 2022 we celebrate our foundation day. This year we did a different thing —– we arranged a musical competition amongst our trainees. Competitors participated in three different categories– Singing, Tabla- playing and Synthesizer – playing. At the end of the program, prize and food packets were distributed among the trainees.

On the Eve of 26th March 2022 Rhythm & Melody Tabla band of Welfare Society for the blind participates in Tolly Fest 2022 and performs a musical program at Tollygunge Club, Kolkata.
The Champalal Chamaria Endowment Award from Rotary Club of Calcutta
On 15th March ,2022, our Ex-trainee Sri Subhasish Dasgupta received The Champalal Chamaria Endowment Award for Vocational Training to underprivileged young adult from Rotary Club of Calcutta. Presently he is working as a Clark at State Bank of India.
Volunteering program by TSDPL
Tata Steel Downstream Limited organized an Antakshari and Quiz events with the trainees of Welfare Society for the blind, under Volunteering initiative program. The program was held on 10th March 2022 at WSB premises. At the end of program, prizes and food packets were distributed among the trainees by volunteers of TSDPL.
